Welcome!

The Memorial Society of Northern Virginia was founded in 1955 as a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting its members in making life's final choices with dignity, compassion and meaning.

Our society provides the community of Northern Virginia with information, assistance, and support regarding the laws, regulations, and costs of goods and services of both the funeral homes and cemeteries of Northern Virginia.

We also provide education about other final choices including Advance Directives, end-of- life care, and funeral planning.

We are an affiliate of the National Funeral Consumers Alliance www.funerals.org.
